I met Rivaldo very briefly while photographing the women from Quilombo da Lapinha doing their laundry in the river. Rivaldo was bathing with his family and asked me to photograph him. Excited with the camera, he posed, jumped around, saw the pictures and kept asking for more. After many shots, some of them just wet unrecognizable blurs, and many thumbs up for the camera, what lasted was his beautiful smile.
