The City Market of Rio Pardo de Minas is an important marketplace for the traditional communities and small farmers of the region. There they can sell the produce they cultivate in their lands, as well as fruit jams, frozen fruit pulps and other products processed by rural workers cooperatives such as the one the geraizeiros administer in Água Boa II. Ceramic pots, decorative vases, clay filters and other articles manufactured by communities' artisans are also sold there.
